I’ve watched so many dinners set up during our stays at the resorts and am always amazed at how much detail goes into each setup. My favorite moment was during a destination wedding I attended at Sandals Royal Caribbean.
When the sun began to drop lower in the sky the staff set up the table in a gazebo at the end of the dock. They turned the space into a romantic setting complete with tulle, flowers, and lanterns decorating the space. At dusk, a gentleman walked down the dock hand in hand with a blindfolded young lady. Intriguing! The couple was followed by a photographer while a videographer stood at the side of the walkway. Stopping just in front of the gazebo, he turned, took the blindfold off his beautiful lady, and got down on bended knee!
What a breathtaking moment that will stay with me for a lifetime. I can only imagine how his now fiance felt!
